The Roster Grows
The Accucraft Peckett is the latest addition to the 16 mile long 32mm gauge Grand View Light Railway. She is going to be named "Firefly" and be assigned to the twice daily passenger train that serves the Grand View Hot Springs Resort. The red Accucraft Sabrina will be named "Dragonfir...

Re: A 16mm layout...in a flat?
However, with regard to the trackplan, it's difficult to be sure without some actual dims, but with the amount of curved track and pointwork, I'm very dubious about the track centres and fouling points? I'd be a bit surprised if the platform width is enough to allow 2 trains to pass, let alone actu...

Accucraft Sabrina R/C
Has anyone R/C'd a manual Accucraft Sabrina? I see it is built with an on/off switch cutout in the frame plate, and several blank holes in the footplate, perhaps for servo mounts? So maybe Accucraft UK offers them with a R/C option... Are there any R/C parts kits available from Accucraft UK? If so, ...

Re: Live Steam detailing parts
Graeme, thanks for the Swift Sixteen info, found the sandboxes and several other useful pieces on their website. However, unfortunately they do not ship outside of the UK at this time.

Re: Live Steam detailing parts
I got running boards, lubricators, oil boxes from Locoparts. I couldn't find separate parts for sale on DJB site. I'd really like some DJB sand boxes for my Sabrina, which is mostly assigned to the Coal Mine train and has a steep grade up to the mine with empties, but nevertheless could use some rai...

Re: Saddle Tank Info
Mr. Willmore, thanks for the info on why no more Roundhouse production, do you know of anyone building a saddle tank with Hackworth Valve Gear these days? Other than Accucraft's Wren which is 7/8ths scale? (and has a wheel wobble production problem) I suppose the John Prescott Robins are scarcer tha...

Saddle Tank Info
Does anyone recognize this Loco and the builder of it? I'd like to acquire or build a Hackworth Valve Gear Saddle Tank loco, but Roundhouse does not make a Hackworth Valve Gear chassis anymore. (Why?) Several years ago I built a DJB ROBERT coal fired with a Roundhouse Hackworth Valve gear chassis, b...

Live Steam detailing parts
Just took delivery of a RH Katie, and am looking for some detail parts for her. Specifically; running boards, lubricators, sanders. Have looked high and low on this Forum and all I can find are pictures of engines wearing the above mentioned details, but can anyone share where these details can be p...

Re: Accucraft W&L cattle van
Thanks for the info Lonsdaler, I was able to get 2 cattle van kits and an Open Coach kit from The Lineside Hut, and they DO ship to the USA. Since most of my SM32 rolling stock is scratch built or heavily kit bashed, I prefer building kits to bone stock RTR offerings. Worked out real great! Thanks a...
