Garden Railway Forum

For some time I have had an interest in Sugar Cane railways in places such as Java and Australia, and would like some rolling stock such as the wagons used to transport the cane from the fields to the mills.

Are there any kits about that I can be directed too?

Thank you gents for your help, I shall now look into this further and see what I can do!

I have a Edrig, which as we speak is manual control, is there a "off the shelf" kit for radio control, that I can fit to it?

I see on the frames under the footplate there is a cut out for a switch, so I guess the receiver would live?

I've just looked through this thread, and I must say that you've made an excellent railway, and its very inspirational.

When the weather starts to improve, I must make a start on my own railway.

On the subject of Merlin locomotives, I have recently purchased a Merlin / Beck "Anna" loco, does anyone have any history on these locos, I know for a stage Roundhouse produced them, but as for dates I'm not sure.
