Does it run better in reverse rather than forward? I ask because many of your pictures show it going tender first. Sadly, it seems a lot of steam engine models run better "the wrong way"!

For those who have built these kits, once you have the inner liner/wall painted (white or cream, I would assume) how well do the multiple layers stick together when you glue them/laminate them?
