IP Ezee Railcar
As a break from work / full size steam / steam modelling - and following the success of Plodwynn (see earlier thread) I've just ordered the latest offering from IP Engineering - the Ezee Diesel Railcar. (A brand new loco for less than £30?! Got to get me a one of those!). http://www.ipengineering.co...

Very good luck with the kit Garrett - I'm sure you'll have a great time building and running her. A very capable little engine by all accounts when done! I'll be watching this thread closely, as I'm about to buy one myself - and would like to know any problems or suggestions you might have! Cheers, ...

Wow - cheers for the replies guys! Was just proving a point about IP railcars - not fishing for compliments! The skips are next in the paint-shop - after finishing off a gas-fired Merlin loco. They were bought as a job lot at the steam toys in action do at Leicester - although they were rather hideo...

Triang Novo Conversions??
Hi Guys, Just a quick query about the cheap and cheerful Triang / Novo 'Big Big Train' Rustons - has anyone had much experience bashing these into something which looks remotely good? I'm buying a couple, and want to hack them into a matched pair - but if anyone's got any pictures / advice / etc I'd...

Hi All, Firstly apologies for not posting much recently - but it's the old story, work takes over! However, now the daffs are out, it's time to get back on with the Woodlands Light Railway! Here's a couple more pics of Plodwynn and slate wagon after a bit of a cosmetic overhaul. Apologies for the qu...

Thanks for the replies guys. Much appreciated. I put some open-gear lubricant on the gears originally but still get the wearing problem. I'll get that off and try something like vaseline to see if that makes much difference. I don't really like the look of the bare wood one as per IP, although the l...

IP Engineering Railcar - Plodwynn
Hello all, Just a quick first post really to show my part completed IP Engineering Railcar (Christened Plodwynn) and wagon. I intend to add a lot more detail to it soon, but wanted to get it running satisfactorily first. The first non-steam loco on the Woodlands Light Railway. Has anyone had much ex...
