Re: First Ever Garden Railway

I enjoy when running my Roundhouse Katie to turn the gas down and run slowly. it extends the run time and feels more realistic. Running live steam you tend to be operating a steam loco on a railway using battery or tract power you can be operating a railway with electric locos. Both are good options...

Re: Point Operation

I have some Microprocessor chips on order that include Bluetooth LE which I am hoping to use to operate servos. The electronics need very little current but the servos need a bit more. The trouble with Mechanical methods is you can only operate them from one spot. OK if you design it with that in mi...

Re: Sand Quarry Extension

I would suggest using CT1 to hold it together and if it needs extra strength there is Power Grab and Bond but you need to make that spot on not suitable for adjusting can be used to stones to a wall. CT1 is fine for that job and comes in several colours https://www.ct1.com/our-products/ct1/ . very u...

Reclaimed slates would be an option fix them down with CT1 or Sticks like...

Personally I would opt for exterior shuttering ply and roofing felt cover using a bitumus mastic to stick it down

Re: Planning a new line

Well it all sounded rather promising but nothing up to now. What happened. Well the health problems proved rather greater than expected. I was having difficulties getting out of bed couldn't dress myself, couldn't raise my arms above my shoulders. My hands were having problems the ends of my fingers...

When we get southern gales the wind is so strong here that we get plants shaken so much that the roots either loosen or break.
