Re: My locos

They all look fantastic, great to see printing being used to open up another one of the specialist scales. I'd be interested to learn more about how you made your wheels, I've often wondered if I could achieve something similar. Did you turn the tyres yourself? Are they just glued onto the wheels, o...

Re: Garden Railway Gallery - a POLL, please read.

Thank you for the extra info chaps, I wasn't aware of the useful stuff in the quick links list either, I will make sure to make use of it  Thank you as well for pointing out the rules too, I hadn't made it that far through. I can't say that anything in there looks intimidating, or would put...

Re: Garden Railway Gallery - a POLL, please read.

Hi everyone, Might I shake all the dust off of my account and post a reply as one of those people guilty of regularly viewing the forum but not contributing? The only reason I have not voted for the poll previously is because until the general message went up in the Announcements section I was compl...

This is my newly constructed one, fully removable via four pins. The box top will eventually be filled with lead and gravel to give it some weight.

By the way the mystery plow mounted on the Baugley is Aristocraft.

Not yet complete but a work in progress :) Also my line being a preserved line with no turning facilities it made no sense having a loco incapable of hauling a train tender first. So my LGB shorty had to suitably modified. I have removed the cow catcher and added a shunter's platform. Only now missi...

Good evening all :) Not updated for a while, so here are a few of my more recent projects. First of all is rebuilding my snowplough. The original used to simply attach to the front of a loco, till there was an accident involving a tree, and it didn't fit and awful lot after that. So a total rebuild ...

Also did all my log wagons, vans and made a couple 'Not To Be Moved' signs.

Now in a race, to get my railway back to running order before the 5th of July as this is when I have to have an operation, putting my right hand out of use for about 3 months. And Exams are coming too

Latest project I have been running a while. I've been making some custom lettering for some of my repainted stock. Some of it's far from perfect as I can't print white ink, so I have to print a background. First was Terrier. I printed of a set of wasp stripes, more as an experiment, but I think they...

Coor that is quite a problem! Is it possible to lower the boards in the shed to reduce the gradient? I've been thinking about that. Do do it all I would have to do is remove 3 of the boards in the front of the shed that have been cut to make an entrance. It would also the transition between the gra...
