All fittings are fabricated from brass using files and drills. There is a lot of work involved to get the various components but its worth the effort.

Its been a hobby all of my life and that is some years now. All of my work is scratchbuilt of the prototype. You measure the coach in 7mm to get the full size then convert to 16mm so a 10ft coach in 7mm would be 70mm in 16mm it would be 160mm. You dont need to enlarge a drawing if the drawing is to scale.

Its to scale and as I only build FR stock everything shall clear. Its the tight clearance that gives the FR its character and its this I am attempting to portray. The portal wouldn't look right over scale.

Very nice, what materials did you use on this one? I would guess plasticard, with a wood frame. Should probably try playing with plasticard one day, but I like working in wood.
