Re: Cooper Craft 16mm scale NG Croesor sheet iron wagon

Hello - the wagon arrived yesterday and I did send you (or thought I sent) a PM saying so and thanking you, but that message (and a slightly earlier one saying it had not arrived yet) are still in my outbox as opposed to the sent box, and I am confused as to whether they have actually transmitted to...

Re: Cooper Craft 16mm scale NG Croesor sheet iron wagon

Hello, thanks for your response. I am not sure that I want three, but depending on the sum you want for them, I might be interested in all three. So, I suppose the question is:- how much would you be looking for, for one, for two and for all three, please?

Many thanks,

Ben

Cooper Craft 16mm scale NG Croesor sheet iron wagon

Greetings. Seasoned 16mm rolling stock kit builders will be very familiar with the above kit. Cooper Craft are out of stock and I understand this is due to a long term delay in acquiring a new machine needed for manufacture of the kit components. Unsurprisingly retailers also appear to have no stock...

Re: which is best of live steam rc or manual

NEVER radio control for steam locomotives; it is for model aeroplanes or cars. A model steam locomotive needs to be driven with your hand on the regulator

Re: Best paint or other medium for real wood

Thank you Peter and Max. The parts in question in this kit are real wood so although the HIP/Plasticard looks extremely impressive I am not minded to ditch the wooden parts I have paid for so must find a good solution for the wood and will take your suggestions, Max, on board together with any other...

Best paint or other medium for real wood

I wonder if any member could give me some advice, please: I will shortly be building a (hopefully) fairly simple kit of a 16mm scale NG flat wagon. The flat bed and buffer beams are made of wood and I was wondering what the best way would be to treat these. My first idea would be Humbrol (or similar...

David Hick 16mm NG loco

I am searching for one of David Hick's masterpieces to replace an "Association" Cranmore Peckett that I foolishly and regrettably sold in the 1980s. While another Peckett would be nice, any David Hick loco would fit the bill. Thank you for reading this. Regards, Ben

Re: Professional kit building

Thank you Peter and Rik - Peter, I have attempted to send you a PM in reply, but at the moment it seems to be in "outbox" rather than "sent messages" so I am unsure whether it has transmitted to you? Could you please let me know if you have received it? Many thanks

Professional kit building

Hello - do any forum members know of anyone who builds battery loco kits professionally to order? I am thinking particularly of the IP Engineering Lister locos. While I have built a few wagon kit models over the years I am not a very proficient kit builder and to be frank I do not particularly enjoy...
