Re: IP Coach Kits
I have recently made a Timpdon coach and can say that the kit quality is excellent. The real glass for the windows is a nice touch. And they are well designed too. All in all I can't fault their kit. Same for Brandbright. Although I have only made one of each. I have made a few IP Engineering ones, ...

mixed parcels and passengers
I have decided to make a passenger momentum wagon (there is a thread on here about freight ones I and others have made). Enamel signs
Back 2 Bay 6 used to sell nice and large enamel signs on a metal backing. Does anyone know where to get them from now please? All I can find are plastic ones that fade rapidly outside.

At the risk of seeming like I know what I am talking about (a dangerous idea!!) I work as a long haul pilot flying trans atlantic. Security can be extremely temperamental at times, both side of the pond. If they confiscate the item they do not have to let you take it with you in another way, such as...

lamps
Does anyone know of somewhere in the UK that supply UK style loco lamps. I am not fussed if they work or not, but scale to a Roundhouse Silver Lady and reasonably detailed. Preferably not a kit either. Many thanks.

I had emailed the company asking the same questions as I posted above, here is their prompt reply. Personally it gives me some hope, assuming I can find a varnish that will work! Realistic Brick Compound is generally intended for indoor use and the Marabu varnish is not an exterior varnish. Many gar...

I am struggling with basics of youtube! but this might be a link to a clip of my momentum wagon in action. The loco used to stall every time on the curves, and race on the straights. its not perfect (especially trying to drive and film!) but its much much more realistic. https://www.youtube.com/watc...
