Fascinating. Thanks chaps. I must admit it did get rather warm, though I did stay out of the midday sun for a couple of hours.

We've had rain here this afternoon - a welcome relief.

My latest effort. I couldn't let the spell of dry weather pass without a full operating session (three days of running to represent one day on the railway).

Boy, was it hot!!

I probably have some from Bachmann and LGB battery loco conversions. I don't know if they are compatible though.

Thanks Rik, No the track is code 250 AMS track with very poor UV plastic. Much deterioration under Australian UV conditions, that's why there is shade cloth over Leawarra and things look a bit mottled! Grant. Ah, yes. I see now looking more closely at the first photo. The last couple of shots along...

Looks good - as ever. Is your track hand-built, Grant? It looks very much in-scale.
