Re: Yr Hen Felin & Yr Orsaf Newydd

Great videos Phil. The diesel looked a bit odd pulling the coaches. Before I saw the 2nd video I immediately thought of your Russell would be pull them no problem.

Like Chris said, live steamers love to pull heavy weights.. :thumbright:

Re: LITTLE VAN FOR FWLR

Well I have finally got around to getting my builds down from the loft now that the weather here seems to be improving for a few days. The dimensions are pretty much the same has what you have done for your van Drew. Baring in mind that I 3d printed my own chassis and because the bed on the printer ...

Re: Humbrol enamels drying time

Hi Rik, I haven't used Humbrol enamels for some years now mainly because of the issues you and the rest of the members have talked about. I usually use Vallejo Acrylics now but even those don't have a decent red for buffers and such like. I have started to use Hunbrol Acrylics Red now. I find it doe...

That is just brilliant, saving a much used line side building that serves a railway is something to be proud of. Hope you can solve the hole problem without too much destruction. :thumbright:

Nice little run that Phil, we all learn to turn down our gas mate, it's all part of the experience and it does improve believe me the more you run it. The coaches look great behind her to by the way. :thumbright:

Hi Guys, It is now finished :wav: our line is now a full circuit, although there will be a short length going on near the back of the shed, but it's having to wait a little bit longer because Anne has now realised that the little shed that we have isn't big enough for me to do any modelling and stor...

Hi Drew,

It will soon be running with your locos and running stock. You have made tremendous progress in the short time for when you started.

Keep going and you will enjoy it and have fun, that's the main thing. :thumbright:

Re: Nolwyn Valley Tramway

At our previous house I had a garden pond with goldfish and carp but the water had to be constantly circulated through a filter box and UV filter, both of which required a mains electricity supply. Same here, although the UV filter hasn't worked for a couple of years and doesn't seem to make any di...

The ponds are ready for fish as soon as the water temperature stays just a bit warmer.
