Re: Quarry Hunslet
Agree, that tip for the square steel is great. :thumbright: I think personally you have done an excellent job on the building of your Quarry Hunslet, Phillip. It's looks even better than some of the professional company's that make these and other locos. I would personally buy one from you, if you e...

Those axle boxes look neat Drew. Have you got an stl for them. Also the stationery engine is well printed and I like the colour too. ![:thumbright: :thumbright:](./images/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif)

PS. its not easy has many members will testify, trying to drive a live steamer without one of those (Flipping Heck I can't remember what they are called) you know that restrict the speed...Anyway I drove the loco and Anne did the videoing. I think she did a great job considering I was speeding up a...

Nicely painted Peter. Perhaps darken the pallets and rope to look older... :thumbright: Thanks for pointing that out Rod, you were absolutely right! My excuse was that the engines were being delivered after full restoration so new, clean rope seemed appropriate..... wrong! The pallets have also bee...

Re: FINAL NEW FWLR LINE
Nice day today so got Patrica Anne out for a couple of circuits of the line. Found out that some of the track is slightly tight in places, especially on the long straight and some curves, nothing I can do about it apart from buying some new track and I'am afraid that it's to expensive for me to buy ...

Forgive me Chris, why haven't I looked in on your thread and build of your line, what a complete idiot I am. It looks absolutely fantastic the line of yours. It will constructed and you have left space for loads of expansion. I am really really impressed with it and would be proud of it and w...

Re: Mamod SL1 boiler end
Hello Tim and :welcomeconfetti. I unfortunately can't help you I'am afraid, but I would have thought that the sight glass would have a rubber seal. You can get all sorts of different sizes of seals in most online sites that sell spares for steam locos and even other sites that use water sight glasse...

Re: Overcoming Tinkercad shortcomings
Thats a brilliant job there Graeme, and it looks superb. although for my printer unfortunately it won't fit on my bed even if I rotate it, it's hanging in the air and would need that many supports it wouldn't turn out as neatly if it was printed flat. I even reduced the x axis, but hen I suppose it ...

Thats very good Phillip, but I think that because there are less police on the streets now due to whatever political reason, they should be given free to every household then it would cut down maybe on the amount of burglaries that are committed every minute of everyday and make it easier to get our...

Like the green and the ends look like they are really old, maybe just darken them with a slightly darker wash before you give the barrel the clear coat... ![:thumbright: :thumbright:](./images/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif)

I saw my Sister-in-Law yesterday and she said she would accept reasonable offers. I think she just wants to sell them so that she can start to move on.
