Paint Colours for Accucraft

I have some Accucraft IoM coaches in green and cream.
Can anyone tell me of a paint that matches the green colour, brush or spray?
thanks

Happy New Year :king:

Re: GRFPC old entries gallery

Lots of really inspirational photos here.
Sadly, all the Photobucket ones cannot be viewed. Something about 3rd party hosting? :(

This is all I get -

Re: New coach

Thanks for the nice comments, folks. David - yes, a rake would look good but I may not live long enough to build them!! Rod - Hmmm, a good question. I tend to build stuff in parallel as its better to do all the cutting for example at the same time. That said, the coach was built over a period of aro...

New coach

I just finished the latest coach for the CLR and gave it an outing today in the winter sunshine. It's a scratch-built freelance design, based loosely on the Ffestiniog Bug Box. Body and chassis from 2mm MDF, with 2mm artists' board framing and thin ply roof. Window frames are 1mm card with food pack...

Bing O clockwork loco

I came across an un-named clockwork O gauge chassis on eBay and acquired it at a reasonable price. A little research indicated that it was probably made by Bing in Germany. It is in excellent condition, but needed the wheel flanges reducing as they clipped the chairs. A few minutes work with the Uni...

Birthday cake

As I recently reached my sell by date, my sister in law made me a surprise cake. I had wondered why my wife has suddenly started taking photos of the layout. Now the reason was revealed. The detail is amazing and it seemed a shame to cut the cake. I reckon I need to get sis onto building the real th...

Re: Solar Tram

I liked the idea of a solar tram so much that I built my own. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyiBZ1v-xPc As you can see, it runs just fine in the sun, but the shadows stop it dead. I have now modified it so that the solar cell charges two Ni-MH cells via a diode and then the motor is fed from the c...

My wife is the gardener with a passion. However, I have been allowed a small corner where I built the rockery shown in the photo. ( and of course the line of the railway which was approved before I started digging!)

A Cardboard Engine

I spotted a site on the interweb which advertised garden railway stock to be made from cardboard. http://www.rail-roadmodels.co.uk/. The Corris Hughes loco at £25 looked like a good on to have a start on and so same was duly bought. Its taken me several weeks to assemble the body (no chassis include...

As requested ...

In the kind replies to my introduction I was asked to share photos of my new railway. So here are some snaps of the project in its first week. As you can see, I have yet to do the ballasting. I wanted to get the track right and smooth before doing it and other things have taken priority. CLR 3.jpg T...
