A good mate of mine has a Mk1 Fez. He loves it and I think it's a super little car. What bessytractor said about repair costs, it all depends on how much you're prepared to get your own hands dirty, its labour thats the most expensive and something like a Fiesta aint guna have many problems sourcing...

Britains do them for their range of model tractors, 1:24 or something like that but these machines vary in size in 1:1 scale anyhow. http://www.britainsfarmtoys.com/spearhe ... mower.html

...but what IS it with everyone and their dog owning a Rapier diesel these days? Am I the only one who's gone from a BigBig to an IP Jess?:D Cheap and fun to make. Can do whatever you want with them. I made mine simple with a couple of modifications so I could prove to some younger enthusiasts I kn...

They all copied me from my video tutorials! I put it there for 2 reasons. 1. On mine, the battery box would NOT fit flat on the cab floor. 2. Gives easy access to the inbuilt on/off switch. Its velcroed inplace so to change the batterys you can just slide it out with your finger and it'll come out o...

...the last ever MHLRfest. EVER! Here's a few pics, nothing that special but the rest I did get on video inbetween hosting etc. A few forum members, RSLR (Reece), anythingSDR (Alistair) and LLR (Mike). That would be great! It would be very interesting to see how a steamer handles the curves / gradients. I have been dreaming up plans fir an engine using one of the Stuart marine engines (with chain drive). A bit like an oversized regner  8) I will let you know when I have my driving truck built.......

On my LGB coaches, I removed the silly couplings and drilled through the dummy centre buffers above and glued a hook inplace, so you can use them with other centre buffer stock. I'm sure the CVLR workshops will work wonders to get rid of that garish yellow plastic look!

Excellent, really love the style and everything built on site.
I could bring Bluebell up now she's all fixed so you get steam on the line. But I'm not leaving it there.

Thought my 100e was the least powerful on here, but now it seems it isn't... 38bhp! My dad had a A35 van when he was about 18, he and 6 mates went to Torquay from Yorkshire in it, and changed the big end bearing at the side of the road!     Oh and awesome mini JonnyB, love the flaired arch...

I suppose I'd better say this, but I'm boringly completely teetotle because of my dislike of the taste of alcohol. Or rather everything I've tried I've not liked, with the exception of a bottle of wine we homebrewed in 6th form, which I was just about able to put up with. Would possibly like cider,...
