Re: Laser Cut 3mm Ply Flat Wagons

Finished prototypes out on first run. Just need to work on a coupling to attach to standard LGB couplers. All my stock is being converted not to make use of LGB couplings the rollingstock was originally fitted with, you can have some LGB couplings for the cost of p&p. Ive managed to sort coupli...

So this started off as a bit of an experiment and quickly developed.

Re: New Beginning for 2022

Re: New Beginning for 2022

After several thoughts on how to secure the track to the road bed I came up with these 3D printed blocks with a screw in the middle. Re: New Beginning for 2022

ge_rik wrote: Sun May 28, 2023 8:23 am Captivating to watch. Do the train movements follow a prescibed pattern or is there a random element as to which train moves next?

Rik
They were running on some pre-set looping schedules which activate each other but can also push a couple of buttons to just run at random.

A bit more progress with road bed complete and track laid out.

So to give a brief update on this, the initial loop that was completed is still in place and was covered in ice and snow for a few weeks solid recently. Re: Faller Style Magnetic Guides Road Vehicles - G Scale

Rik Covering the whole board in roofing felt is the current plan, the place where the magnet runs does need to be pretty smooth so maybe something else thin but painted to ...
