Does anyone have any links for appropriate ballast for this? i have a tub of SBR for the intended purpose of ballasting but as of yet have not got round to sourcing ballast material.

Thats a nice curved embankment there , will look great with suitable plants . As mentioned earlier work has begun on a slate quarry area behind the spiral although due to the small scale of the site perhaps more of a waste slate dump site.
