Loco-Boxes...

I was there all day on the Friday, running on the 16mm scale 'Indian Hill Railway'. We had a brilliant day, i took a DHR 'B' class & a DHR 'D' class Garratt along with a train of 16 DHR vans. Both locos performed faultlessly as you'd expect from anything Roundhouse based! It was nice to hear lot...

Yes, as has been mentioned - "Bertie-Fest" will be held at the South Arbury Railway on 22nd April.

It would be great if anyone else is having a Roundhouse themed day this year too as it's their 30th year, the more the better!

That's great to hear! I never said that there weren't any that were good runners, i just said that we hear of so many that aren't! Around £3000 is a lot of money to pay for a loco that may or may not work from the box. We do have a regular example that runs on Ttarrag Shed that performs beautifully ...
