Cool. I'm still trying to get to the car with some chisels. My plan's to send the chassis number to the DVLA for the log book. If it has any owners, they'll look for them & if they don't reply in four weeks, car's mine. If it still has an owner, I'll track them down & make an offer if it's d...

Might be getting mobile soon

Thought I'd mention it on here but I've found a car in my town that tickles my fancy. A Mk3 Cortina 1600 L Automatic Estate, K reg (1971) in white & has been left abandoned in an old garage. As soon as I can, I'll post pics & keep you informed of whether I get it or not. Cheers

That looks really good. For the price too, it's a very tempting offer. It would look awesome in HNGR Brick red & Slate Grey being towed behind my Agnus

Spot on. If the wheels aren't quartered correctly, the engine would have a dead spot &, like the term suggests, it would stop dead

Agnus is due to have her wheels repainted What colour are they going to be painted? Currently got a set of modified wheels in the workshop which I hope will stop the loose axle syndrome - these are being spray painted with 2 coats of Acid #8 Etch Primer followed by a couple of coats of Holts Carmin...

I dunno, all I care about is "Does it work" & "is it any good". The answer is yes to both of those for me. Not bad for an old IBM CRT monitor

For treating, wont Creosote or ordinary paint with varnish do? Most benches are a dark brown anyway from being treated

-insert Greengrass eye twitch here- better get saving then. I want an uprated safety Valve for "Agnus" but I don't want a standard off the shelf Item. I want a Ramsbottom safety Valve because I think they look awesome. I'd also like a long burning Meths burner to boil more water. I'm hopin...

That looks like a cracking day. I particularly like "Sir Compton" & "Glyn". I'd love to have a Glyn Valley tram but I've still got "Agnus" to keep me happy. Another thing for the list of places for when I get a car. I've actually been to Llechfan before but it was a...
