I purchased this loco as a private sale, but could not get her to steam properly, she is 99% mint condition, looks the part and  thanks to a Brand New Burner you can see her running on  http://youtu.be/PZbk0tkLHEU  down at the local track.

Thank you for the info, gave it ago and all sorted, did'nt take long to release the loco has sorted for a while with the previous owner, the whistle is on a leaver so will need to make a little clip to hold open

Could anybody prehaps confirm Merlin Monarch's circa 1987 would these loco's have a Brass or Copper bolier, just got one myself which seems to be in great shape but would like to look after it, I have the original catalouge states sliver soldered and use butane but I also have a sheet which staes in...

Beautiful locomotives, just got hold of some heritage loco's myself, canbe great fun and have a charm of there own.

Hi All I have a finescale peckett which has a jammed whistle valve The loco runs as the valve is in the off position but I would like to free the valve to get the whistle going again.
