Idris on meths
I ve found various drawings online for Idris but I m looking for meths burner measurements but there are none on the drawings for burner diameter and the height could either be 6mm or 61 !Its not 61 but is 6 mm enough..Seems tiny even for Idris?

Changed my mind about soldering having found tiny brass and copper rivets from macc models and chronos..So I wonder now if anyone has had experience of drilling brass for these little things..I would like to use the thinnest material practical but what is the minimum thickness for centre punching an...

burner going out..
I had that happen to my Ragleth once..Gas could be heard coming through but the flame quietly extinguished itself ..Gas still came through..Tried a new gas canister and it never happened again..

Does anyone know please what thread size is in the turret where the water guage screws into and also the lower fitting ..its the outside thread the guage glass nut screws into? Thank you

Funny that I never saw jurassic at the show..too much to see !! Very nice MDLR .I tried to fit 2channel r/c to my Ragleth ..I made up lots of little aluminium angles and it fitted-just..Unfortunately the levers on the mini servos werectoo longfor the reverser.It hit the boiler . and a very nice r/c ...

I use devcon epoxy .Should stick everything? put rubber banss around it..I expect you know all that..Phone modeltown and ask..I might buy one of those so I might even phone them first!

I have a little used Ragleth-40 hours at most-I recently fitted a train department gas regulator..marvellous !controllable gas..Unfortunately after a succesful 20 minute run and after refilling the fire kept blowing out..gas supply was ok..It was a bit windy but nothing that ever bothered it before....
