Yes its a monster of sorts. After a 3 year layover the worlds most powerful mamod is back! Hiya. I tried some larger jets in the FG to no avail. I am starting ro think the boiler is flawed due to its size and lack of superheating. I've but the project on hold till I get clearance from the owner for a larger burner.

B and q used to make miniture garden lighs that were actually 16mm scale station lamps. Might be worth a look.

Hi Guys Im just finished setting up a large 0-8-0 freelance loco for a freind. The boiler is absoloutly massive 7" long by 2.5" diameter with a 3/4" centre flue. The purpose home made burner that came with it simply wont sustain a stable flame (The model has never turned a wheel) so I...

Just buy a ronson gas valve from roundhouse. In fact buy 2 or 3 as they do block up or the o seal perishes. I always keep a few spare for when they blow.
