There is a lovely 16mm cut away model of Merddin Emrys in the booking office at FR Harbour Station no idea who made it?

Re: RH Double Fairlie

It's on the Roundhouse website as DLG, I would love one if it could be made as Merddin Emrys, apart from colour and nameplates how different are the two locomotives ?

Here's mine on test.

Re: Roundhouse Jennie

I'm sure many modified locomotives will appear from a Jennie chassis, I'm sure that was the intention all along. She runs beautifully, have just uploaded a video to YouTube....

Roundhouse Jennie

We saw the new Roundhouse Jennie at the recent Llanfair show, looked so good that we ordered one. It arrived very quickly and a very impressive engine, runs very well as you would expect from Roundhouse.

John, your restored engine looks fantastic! I was tempted to restore mine, but loving the aged look of her.

Re: Archangel Range

Looks original as far as I can tell, underneath is stamped 6 76, which I assume is 1976. I want to keep it looking just the same, lovely patina on her. The nameplate is a river at Blaenau Ffestiniog, not far from us here in sunny Rhos on Sea!

Re: Archangel Range

After many years of wanting an Achangel engine I found this for sale at Bradford on Saturday on Simon's stand, love at first sight! Had it running on Saturday, went well and love the sound of the safety valve!

Many years ago, I fitted a hood to a Herald convertible. When you fastened the clips down you could feel the front bulkhead move  I have heard that with Spitfires it's perfectly normal to have to rehang the doors when you change from hard top to soft & vice versa, 'cos the hardtops pull t...

Many years ago I had Herald convertibles that you could not close the doors easily if it was parked on uneven ground! Usually it's down to rust!

I've not been on here for ages (mainly due to housemove) but we have bought a couple of classic cars, I used to run these many years ago and love them! We bought this 67 mk2 Spitfire last April, it has a soft top too, http://i1088.photobucket.com/albums/i331/penrhynpigeons/2178a.jpg http://i1088.pho...

We went to the Llanfair show on saturday and bought this for £45 from the Imp stand, originally it had been priced at £95, it all works well, mind you I've noticed that the dummy axle boxes and one louvered side panel are upsidedown  also it stands on 3 wheels so slight axle hole mod needed :lo...

The move went well, we love it here, the internet is just working at the moment at a very slow speed of 160kbps  it seems when you move it takes ages to get broadband working, I've no idea why? still we've been exploring the old Penrhyn limestone quarry (on the side of the Little Orme) trying ...
