Seeing as I know nothing about electronics (hence why I am on a Mechanical Engineering course

) can someone tell me if a
track powered Accucraft Baguley Drewry can be easily converted to battery power.
I would like a Brandbright converted one, but I suspect doing it yourself will be much cheaper.

im sure they can be quite easily, every one seems to have done it. I think all you would have to do is take the wires from the pick ups and solder them to batteries

Ive converted several myself and they arent that difficult. Mind you mine were only dual speed with sound and no radio. Space can get tight in the bonnet so perhaps radio gear might have to spill into the cab but it shouldnt be to difficult.
Good luck with it.
