Just doing a bit of research for the planned canal on the WLR.

I have downloaded 'Grumpfuttocks' programme of the internet that scales down measurments but need to get the measurments first!

I currently know the width of the boat to be between 60' and 70' and the width between 6'-7'. But need the other measurements. Can anyone help please???

The writing only works froma distance due to the limitations of Paint

Done it! The old iron workings are early 18th century but still in use. I have made up a history that allow's that. The track exiting bottom left should go double track as the top is but i forgot  I shall probably end up changing the winding engine to a more ramshackle affair rather more like they Hays incline at Blist's Hill

Here you go...

personally I think you'd be best getting some track laid first.

Over the winter and early spring I can't make any progress on track laying as were clearing out the other shed into this one so we can re-roof it. What I intend to do is model making ei build the coal mine or the inclined planes. I can make it and just drop it in...and it's pretty much free as I have it all at home :D

How talls a cornish engine house?

Here is the incline plane (with no incline!) for the boats.

Not finished yet though.

Ah, I saw someone from Bristol had been to the site, now I know who it was ;)

That's a great project you have there Jim. I have been looking around for more details, but am sorry to say I cannot help you with the other dimensions.
