What did you use for RC?

Believe it or not we used a Joysway 2.4gh radio from a model yacht. Small components and flat large phone style TX. It was a throw out from the model boat club. My son is 11 and built 95% of it with me guiding and advising. Tiring to do but he enjoyed it. Took 4 days

captures the real thing very well. I've driven the real thing. Its very noisy and so drivers need to wear ear defenders.
