Fareham Model Engineers; a very small layout.

Hello All,

Today at Fareham model engineers someone had a small battery electric loco running around a flower pot. I wish I had been able to find the chap who owned the "layout" as I am interested to as what track he might of used.

The layout was circular and probably only just over a foot round, my question is could peco track be bent this tight just to take a small battery loco (with 4WD) or what is the tightest people have bent Peco track too?

Can it be bent as tight as faller track? If so what radius is Faller?

I know its very vauge but I hope someone can help

Faller track is around 28" diameter for a circle........................

small batter locos run round faller track no problem..even faller 060 locos run round faller no problem..
I saw a small layout at peterbough show with a loco and the round track was about 2 foot diameter..

That would've been mine! 2 axle drive is more-or-less a necessity when you're going around curves that sharp - hang any sort of load behind a 1 axle drive small battery loco and it will slither to a halt on sharp curves.

Don't ask me how I kniw this....................
