A steaming session on a different PTLR

Yesterday, five of us 20-something nutters had a running session on the PTLR, but rather unusually for me and PTLRcecil, it was on Resurgum05's Pear Tree Light Railway, rather then the Pine Tree Light Railway. Joining us was Laurence and James, plus a couple of older local members. Unfortunately, the weather was typically Welsh in the afternoon, leading to running being curtailed for an hour. Despite this, I think everyone enjoyed themselves, and plenty of good photos resulted. Here are some of mine.
After arrival of me and PTLRcecil, Mordred was first out trying out the line. The PTLR is effectively a figure of 8, but squashed over with the loops one inside the other.
Carrying on the World Tour, Caradoc was next out.
Laurence's Leader, which put in a good performance. Then again, it always did when it was owned by Barnacle Bay Charlie and running as "Petterill".
On day release from the PTLR works (and that's Pine Tree Light Railway this time), Pheonix went for a run. This engine has returned to South Cumbria, mainly as James didn't have room in his bag.
Also from day release from the PTLR works, the loco formally known as Gwyn Murphet, Matt's Lady Anne, which has had the Super Lady Anne treatment, and full cosmetic works.
Gwydion crosses one of the bridges, this one based on those used on the rebuilt Welsh Highland Railway.
Gwyn Murphet now has a number instead, which I can't remember..
Double trouble, the famous pair of Britomart and Ofario. Surprisingly the skips all stayed on the rails.
With the mamods out of something, it was time to deploy Boxcab!
The original Super Lady Anne, Snowdon, which is also back at the PTLR, again because of bag space issues. For this reason, Brit is also visiting the ANLR currently!
Gavin, one of the local members, bought along this Rheidol tank and train.

Hopefully, I should get a video onto youtube from this event (if James didn't spoil too many of the clips with comments about the weather) although it might not appear for a week or two. Anyhow, many thanks to Resurgum05 for letting us all invade for the day, I look forward to visiting again when the weather is a bit nicer...!
