As some of you may know, i have had problems with my Lady Anne.
So today at Kew i sold it back to IMP, then walked about 3 steps over to Brandbright where i bought this little beauty

Since this photo was taken, i have added dummy valve gear, and chimney cap.
I think the next thing to do will be the handrail.

Just arrived back home after a visit to the Kew Bridge Steam Museum, purchased a couple of bits for my Roundhouse Millie, no loco's this time though, just a dummy crosshead and a pressure gauge, already too many project locos, although there were a couple of nice looking Gas Fired Mamods on the 16mm Association layout which looked tempting!
Andy's new Bertie looks great and is already running great out of the box!

Thank you.
I made the rail from some rod dad had, cut one side to length, bent the curve round a candle pot, then cut the other side to lenght.
The handrail nobs i bought from Kenth garden railways at the kew show.
Anoyingly i dropped the body when i was drilling for the pump, and the original handrail is now bent, so i had to use the left over rod, which just about fits, but the front of it comes within a few mm of the chimney.

I
need one of those Westinghouse pumps...
You've done a really good job of that- everything is fitted neatly and square and looks like it's supposed to be there. Nice work
