Someone on youtube has re uploaded one of my videos as their own with no alterations or acknowledgment that its mine.

Im going to look I to having it taken down though how I go about that I have no idea but in the mean time I urge everyone to give it a thumbs down.
Least its only one video I know a steam toy collector who has had his entire channel

Also the description is made up of a load of descriptions of my other videos and the title is a title from another video, weird likes its an automated channel

Looks like its been stolen twice

Removed the links, they don't deserve any traffic

I've noticed people have been doing this on Youtube, often the videos have ads on them, which suggest that the thief is making money from it (and what's worse is that Youtube is obviously letting them ) No idea how to report it, if anyone knows please do share on here, as I wouldn't be surprised to see other forum members channels targeted.

Pauly I totally sympathise with you on this subject. I know how to roughly get them noted further than flagging. Could you PM me the title please of the copy.
I youtube myself, not only trains, but it is very frequent that this happens.

With a neighbourhood like you have your garden railway films do not need a backscene or much else to fool the eye. I accept you have to suffer much longer periods than UK railways when you are snow bound but when the sun comes out and the snow melts you have a lovely spot.
You may try putting your garden railway videos under 'Cars and Vehicles'.

The trouble with that spot though is that it doesn't belong to me. It's an old oil tank pad on an island in the bay near my house that has grown over with shrubby trees. To get there I have to take a boat, and then climb a cliff/hill with whatever rolling stock I can tuck under my arm. It's ridiculous. The track is still there because no-one goes there but it's under six feet of snow. This year I'm moving from my flat into a proper house, so I hope to maybe have a garden at some point soon.

Any townie coming to yours for a steam up would need to be ex SAS or outward bound trained or similar. Joking apart, good luck with your new home.
