House for sale with line attached

Posted this to the 16mmNGM yahoo group but thought id ask here as well.
Found a house on the web for sale in Parracombe, backs right onto the old L&B trackbed, but what caught my eye is one photo of the garden shows what could well be a 16mm line, anyone know it?

very, especially as part of the grounds is a section of the old trackbed which the L&B will be needing!

I've heard of this garden railway. It was mentioned in a book I have on Britain's lost railways. There was a section on the L&B, and it went over the route and what's left of it (at the time the book was published, work hadn't started on reopening the line at Woody Bay, and the Exmoor Steam Railway was still open to the public, so the line must have been around for a while now).

I remember visiting this house back in the early 90's, as the garden railway used to be open to the public.
It was of course a model of the L&B, and had a model of Chelfham Viaduct.

Wonder if the L&B will buy the place? Its a gorgeous house and grounds.

Just a thought. Wouldn't it be good if the eventual buyer offered to sell the trackbed to the society for a nominal sum,say £1.00p. Lot of happy bunnies as a result.

I remember visiting the line during a holiday in Devon. Lovely couple that ran it, good quality cream tea!

I think I recall that this line features in one of the Garden Railway episodes by Mark Found.

No, this one doesn't. I've watched that series enough times over the years to know what's in it, in fact it's about time I watched it again
