An update on progress, after a lot of hard work by numerous people, not all of the 16mm fraternity (yet) Phase 2 is nearing completion.

Glad you like it Annie, the horse-drawn wagon is from an Atropos kit that belongs to a friend of mine.
We are now extending the line to include a second return loop, on the eastern side, just because we can and to make multiple-train running that more interesting.
I took a couple more photos of Phase 3 today:

The trackbed had a rather alarming amount of superelevation, now cured by some transverse sections screwed underneath, one of which was fixed to a post sunk in the ground.
If it ever stops raining the next job is to renew sections of the ballast which have come unstuck. Glass-fibre resin has been tested successfully so we may use that as an adhesive.

Nice work on Phase III. I'm impressed with the flexibility of construction with the use of that PVC board and the PVC pipe supports.
We're supposed to be having Summer here, only the weather has been cold and wet with rain and gales so I'm glad that I'm building an indoor line and not trying to do anything in the garden.
