I use modeltown figures, they need painting but their reasonably priced and have some character

Don't know if you have €1 shops in France like our £1 shops in the UK.
Just picked up a load of Star Trek figures the right height for 16mm, with bending legs and moveable arms. Surprisingly they cost £1! However not sure they'll look right carry phasers on a railway but the belts could be adapted to hold a tool or two instead.

I use old
LEGO Technic figures.
Else,
Busy Bodies seems to be popular for the 16mm scene.

They are quirky and something of an acquired taste!

I would agree with that comment. I quite like the model town figures, a bit crude and need some tlc but a bit of time with an oo brush gives some pleasing results. Their cartoony charm appeals as busy bodies do to others. Not saying how I've spent my windy Sunday morning but Fairway Vale now has a staffing rota of six.
I have just bought a job lot on ebay, if you want an Edwardian lady to practice on drop me a pm and I'll put her in the post for you. I wouldn't imagine post to France will break me.

Thanks. I don't know the postage price for France...but I think it's very expensive. The channel I guess...
