I wondered if anyone here had any experience with the 7/8 kits offered by IP Engineering ?
They seem quite good and very affordable...
but are they easy to build ?
Thanks for your advices.

IP kits are probably the easiest to build on the market I'd say, just follow the instructions and take your time (always important with this hobby!) and the results should be very good. I started with two IP coach kits, and then ended up building my own stock from scratch

Thanks !
It's very helpful. Maybe it will be my very first kit in this scale.

I sent two emails to IP Engineering, but I got no answer.
Now, I'm looking for a new idea...maybe you will see it in another topic !

I too have found he doesn't answer Emails. Having said that, ALL of my modest collection of rolling stock is IP engineering and I like it very much. I will be buying another, when I have time to build one.
I have however tried calling him on the telephone and he is quite friendly. Perhaps, (as one fellow here has already suggested I do with a product I was curious about), it would be best if you called him on the telephone.
Some people, especially those over about 35 or so, are not especially good at the whole internet experience. I myself would rather speak with someone in a shop than order over the internet. Perhaps Ivan finds E-mail to be a bit of a pain. Try calling him.

I'm afraid I don't know the dimensions of the 7/8ths kits; I have been building 16mm models. IP seems to have forgotten to include the dimensions on his 7/8ths stock kits, although the "Hudson" flat-bed is stated to be 160 X 72 X 38 mm, I'm not sure if that's the one you want.
I suggest calling on the telephone. The number is on his "contacts" page. It's well worth the long-distance charges because you can ask him all your questions at once.

I only want to know the dimensions of the 7/8ths scale flat bed wagon.
Maybe someone could help me...

I've recently built a couple of IP 7/8ths kits, a skip and a Ruston. I have another skip still to build.
The skips were ordered over the phone from Mr Prior, and the Ruston bought at the Peterborough show.
These are the first IP kits I've built and they seem fine to me! I was told there are potentially several other IC loco kits in the pipeline, and I'm looking forward to them too.
See
http://gardenrails.myfreeforum.org/about7222.html for the skip, and
http://gardenrails.myfreeforum.org/about7587.html for the Ruston.
