GCSE project... need some help!

I am currently in the design process of a storage unit for mounting inside my workshop that will hold my 16mm locos and coaches/wagons. I want to do something different from the rest (ie not a bookshelf, chair or table), so I have decided to go with this idea, due to the lack of shelving space for my stuff!! I was wondering if anyone can help me out, I'd like to know or ideally see a photo of how other people store there stock, albeit on a set of shelves, cupboard or whatever that is not just 'a box'.
The ideas so far are a cabinate which the front is a coach door, so you open it by the door handle, and the window is the 'display' glass. Or an engine shed with opening doors on the front to open out to reveal the stock etc inside on shelves.
I have to do some research before I can start out on the full design, so I can do analysing of the product etc. If anyone can post some photos of their own 'storage unit' on here, I'd be truly greatful.

when I go to school tomorrow Ill take a pic of mine to show you it got top marks for being different to everyone elses DVD/bookshelves and cupboards

Yeah, well, they called it DT.
I've made a good job of it though. i've based it on railway preservation.

Ive used IKEA kitchen-kabinets. The cheapest ones (white!). They are the type which are to fit above your (kitchen)worktop. Use the 80-90cm wide ones for coaching stock. 60cm is standard width
