Groudle Glen

IP engineering has now/releasing a range of Groudle Glen Items, I'm guessing in companion with Peter Yatton, since he's logo is also present of the instructions. He does the battery locos (avaible as Polar Bear or Sea Lion) and is also releasing the orignal 4 wheel coaches and bogie coaches for £55 each. The locos are £70.
Heres my part constructed loco so far:

Very nice - what are the chassis and motoring arrangements like - will a sprocket drive set for 4wd fit? Presume motor under one end and batteries the other?

The motor sits between the frames basially, driving one wheel. Not sure if a 4wd chain would fit, but should do, although it would be a tight space. There is a central bearing on the undrive wheel.

IP's site says "later in the year these kits will be available in 7/8th scale in 45 mm gauge"...
