I know that this has been worked out before but:-
32mm is equal to 1 1/4 inches
1/12th scale is (of course) 1 inch to 1 foot
Therefore - 32mm in 1/12th scale is exactly 15 inch gauge
1/12th figures are readily available from the dolls house trade, in fact there seem to be dozens of resin figures in a great many poses.
So I attach two photos taken recently of the 15 inch gauge Bassett Lowke built 4-4-0, YORKSHIRE.
Although thought by many to have been scraped in the 1960's, YORKSHIRE has at last been restored to original condition by it's present owner, Christopher Potts who is seen below posing with YORKSHIRE.

Also photographed is Mr Joseph Grey, who drove YORKSHIRE many years ago. Joseph is seated on the tender of his old steed.
