Hello All.
Thanks for advice I didn't know there was such a thing as SM32 track what is the difference between it and standard 'O' gauge track if it is same gauge
is the track height different? think I'll have to go for 3 to 3.5 radius at most, may even have to go down to 2.6 and slow loco down
Thanks
Fred

Mamod/MSS are 16mm scale, narrow gauge. Sm32 means sixteen mill. to the foot, 32mm gauge. That means it is narrow gauge track, so therefore will have a coarser scale. Compare:fred wrote:Hello All.

Quite a difference completely except the gauge. Various differences include rail size etc.

Dear Pete, thanks for the trouble you took to get photo of each, I can see the difference now, a picture as they say is worth a 1000 words I want to go down the Narrow gauge way, I am in the 009 Society, but due to bcoming disabled I was finding it troublesome
and I was given an old Mamod etc; and with help of folk on forum got it working, now also got a MSS new, I have a steep learning curve, 009 doesn't use pellets etc; but am really enjoying the live steam and burnt fingers
Kind Regards
fred
