An Evening on the Westfield Light Railway.............

The winter monthly East Midlands Group meeting is held indoors, at the Westfield Light Railway in Long Eaton.

It's nice to sit down and eat your kebab meat & chips and watch the trains go by...................

............. particularly when they're running above head height!

This Roundhouse Atlantic was in what the owner described as "GWR Experimental" livery!

The Forney will only run in reverse - something to do with the corners!

Trouble with the gas (non) filling valve led to the MDLR's "Sir Samuel" looking distinctly wintery!

Martin from Leicester brought along some working Atropos tipping wagons.........

................ which were altogether delightful (if a little out of focus!)

The "GWR" loco hauled a pair of illuminated WLLR coaches..........

................. whilst the MDLR operated a freight working with "Lady Sybil".

Love those working tippers...might have to get me some. Or try to scratch build some a la Glyn Ceiriog Granite Co.
