Looks good, Is the dual gauge track handmade or did you buy it?

I chatted with the people at Garden Railway Specialists and in the end had it made by them, since my point-making skills are close to zero ....

Great stuff. It's a shame you don't live in Kent, UK

New video of a Regner "Vincent" making its way through Kent, passing the newly planted trees before crossing the bridge to North Wales and following the harbour branch line past the new warehouses, with a view of the village of Portmeirion in the background above the upper loop with new trees too.

Kent provides a lot inspiration - and I´m there a couple of times a year - but I´ve been on the "continent" now since I was about 18, give or take a year ... so they probably wouldn´t have me back. But I am in touch with 16mm Kent group, who seem like a nice bunch.

This is a reverse cab view on the upper loop of the K&NWLR looking back at a Regner "Willi" Challoner style freelance loco, taking several trips around the complete circuit with a chance to see the layout as a whole, and glimpses of a Regner "Vincent" pulling a train of slate wagons on the lower loop below.

What a great layout, how do you keep your cellar free from damp from the live steam and also keep the air fresh ?

To be honest, since the area is 14m x 6m, the little water vapour that comes out, is probably fairly easily absorbed by the air. Up till now there have been no problems, and since there is still no door to the rest of the cellar, ventilation (CO2, CO) doesn´t seem to be a problem. I know however that friends who have meths-run gauge 1 in a cellar have trouble with their eyes after a while.

I've said this on GSC as well, but- your work is simply stunning.

Impressive loco fleet too.

Thanks for these. I´ll have to start thinking about a steam crane, as there´s not much logging around the K&NWLR for a donkey.
