Accucraft Leader - Lining

A while back I posted up about putting radio control into my Accucraft leader, a job I was very pleased with, and before that I had asked about lining it out.

Well at the weekend I sat down and decided I would start the lining process. I had purchased some water slide transfers which had been produced for me by cbtransfers and put them on, of course, applying laquer after they had thoroughly dried. The results, well, i am as pleased as punch with them, not the steadyest of hands I have, nor do i like the dust which kept sticking to the loco everytime I tried taking pictures of it, but, in the end, here it is. I was supposed to sort through these and pick the best ones, but in the end, well, I just uploaded them all, lol

The final picture shows it with my Ragleth and one of my MMS loco's for a size comparison, but I have also used it for my Avatar. If someone has a good idea for lining on the Ragleth other than yellow I would love to see, hear it, thanks, Steve :)

You can shove one on the green loco as well and claim the red one is a newly accquired LMS ;)

yeah, the light was bad, or the camera is, or maybe the person behind the camera, but the red one is the standard MSS burgandy colour in real life, lol

Or "the mark of the beast" AKA - the UTA crest...

For those not in the know, the UTA closed down the last remaining stretches of narrow gauge in Northern Ireland 1950-54, and most of the standard gauge system 1950-65.
