I took my I.P. Jane to give 'Peaslake' a rest. After half an hour of 'homework' at work yesterday, she is now ready for Tony to work his magic on her. The Binnie skips made a wonderful clatter, as they are fitted with Kestrel metal wheelsets.
Chris brought along his kit built Katie; which he has fitted with a PPS whistle, draincock effect and Summerlands chuffer.
Norman gave his Caradoc an airing. Seen here in company with the Katie.
Chris also brought along his 1.3 kg weights, which gives us a chance to show off our engines might!
Chris' latest project is a kit built Billy, cobbled together for a test today. He has modified the smokebox door to open. It already looks good, despite not being the finished article.
Roger's new toy is this Countess, albeit the Brandbright battery electric version. Not my cup of tea, but it's nice all the same.
Another loco from Chris' stable is this Peter Angus tram. Needless to say I am looking into how I can add a steam tram to my stable! Seen here with his camera wagon. One of our group has made a bogie camera wagon, with the camera linked to the bogies so that the camera 'steers' round the corners.
