Just wondered..........
If there was one locomotive steam or diesel in our wonderful world of garden railways that you would like to see come back what would it be???
It can be from a manufacturer no longer with us, or one that is still producing today but has moved onto different pastures...
where possible please include one picture of said loco so that others know what your on about
over to you

A Roundhouse Dylan would be nice............... t'would only need a new body, as Dylan and Lady Anne shared the same boiler and mechanical........

Ooh...tough choice! A few years ago I might have said Roundhouse Victoria, but I think the Regner version is still in production? The Roundhouse Penrhyn Hunslets and the Archangel Jack (
http://www.sidestreetbannerworks.com/locos/loco91.html) would also be high on my list, but if I had to limit myself to one I think it would be the original...
The Archangel Rheidol! Although at risk of upsetting the traditionalists, I'd prefer a regaugable, gas-fired version with all mod cons

Slight pang there when I saw that photo – one wonders about should i have actually sold it! But there we are one's hobby moves on. If only someone would clone this one to modern standards I would buy it like a shot.

No you shouldn't have
Was probably that engine, in one of your regular RM slots yonks ago, that made me decided I wanted a 16mm steam loco someday... Was green and shiny then though!
