lovely locos, in particular little wonder and beddgelert. I been an admirer of your line for a while too, very scenic.

Love the loco in the second pic! Sorry to be the dumb blonde, but what is it?? I do like your planting too, very pretty and so much to scale. Lovely photos.

Hi Mrs F Controller,
The loco in the second picture is Steve Bells plateway locomotive. You may have seen it at the 16mm AGM this year, it won the Andrew Neale trophy. The loco is electrically powered & Steve has promised to build a layout complete with correct plateway track work sometime in the near future.

A superb model don't you think?

I really do admire how your line curves and bends naturally. Something I would aspire to do if only the garden were a little bigger...

Allthough I have no idea how large or small your garden is I would honestly say that size is not the issue, it is more about how you integrate everything. This beleive me is in a VERY small garden in the South West

from what I can see (expecially in the 2ND image) that gardens quite large, especially compared to my garden.
Hell Zachs garden is more like a small court yard!

Your garden is lovely, and the railway really works well in its place. It is definately a part of the garden and yet has a nice presence. Its a grand place to see larger 16mm models running free.

The other railway is also a delight. I've seen some other photos on the 7/8" forum of the same line, and it has wonderful atmosphere

Wow! That is a delightful railway however, incomparrison its quite a large space...
Integration is definitely the key and careful planning! Keep the pictures rolling they are stunning!

I'll post some more pix when I can access my external hard drive. I don't tend to keep much on my laptop. However here is a Vale of Rheidol 2-6-2, it belongs to Dave Pinniger, I have it on loan at the moment as a sort of "benchmark" for my own version.

I think that's the nicest thing I've seen in a long time. I do seem to have a thing for the unusual!

We have had many different loco's running on our line, this is Paul Millingtons scratchbuilt Blanche.

This is my wifes Finescale Hunslet.

This is a Gosling "The Prince"

This is an Archangel L&B EXE painted in B.R. livery.

Harvey Watkins own scratchbuilt Darj "B" class

An F.R train headed by Blanche.

We also have our Mamod based fleet,

DJB Prince in the snow

Archangel Snowdon Ranger.

Vaenol, a "Mills class" Hunslet on a Gosling0-4-0 Chassis

Another loco by Harvey Watkins "Victoria" The running gear for this loco is from a Roger Marsh "OGWEN"

& finally my first 16mm scale loco, Sgt Murphy.
