Very nice. I feel Accucraft will do well with those. It also shows you can make a single gauge prototype without offending anyone ;)

It is very nice, but as you say single gauge (the right one... ) which is brave I think. It would have looked very odd on 32 though! There seems to be a growing interest in modelling the IoM railway, and Cale will be a huge boost to it. Now all come over and see the real one please! 8)

I have seen the real one!!! ;)
Oh & yes that looks superb, a case when 45mm does look right.
My only issue with it & it maybe in keeping with the real one but the con rods look a little square edged as per Edrig. But that is a minor thing (if I had to nit pick) & may well be correct. Lovely indeed.
Tommy Dodd may have an ARS key but I have a TASS button & a Rope Ladder, just like pirates, except the TASS button bit.

And let's see, 2ft 6ins gauge in 1/19th scale, mmh, yep - 45mm is closer than 32! :D

That is one fine looking loco, a great purchase!

All I can say is that it is just as well I'm in the process of laying my line in 45mm ;)

I did, at the 2005 enthusiasts weekend. As I recall, she sat outside the shed all day while 10, 11 and 12 worked all the service trains  I'll have to try again sometime.

The model is a beauty though, I really hope I'll have a chance to see one running at an exhibition or garden meet!

Ahh, but "Narrow Minded" models W&Lish on 45mm NHN- I think that's what he was referring to.

As pointed out elsewhere- looks ace, but I'm looking forward to seeing the blue one ;)

Makes me realise how lucky I was. When she was retrieved from Port Erin and brought back to life in '95 my summer holiday that year was arranged around seeing her in action. Managed to ride behind (or in front of!) her on all three railways. All good, but blasting our way up from Bungalow to Summit was something else again- unforgettable!
Well, now we know the buffer-stops work! (Heard at 2013 "Longest Day" solstice steamup)

Is it just me or does the chimney look a bit out of scale compared to the 1:1 Caledonia? That wouldn't get in the way of me buying one though, the lack of finance & lack of a suitible railway do!

Those of a more rivet count-y approach than me reckon the dome is a bit small, maybe that's what throws it out? Looking at photos the person who told me that is correct (he's VERY knowledgable on such things - as in, he used to fire on the IoMR!) and the jury's out on the chimney being not quite the right shape, but the overall look of this loco makes me drool! The detailing is very nice, as good if not better then the Countess, dare I say..... :o

Maybe blue would be nice too.....

(not popular with local enthusiasts!) I had better stick to the indian red. It's a touch darker than the photos show, and nicely eggshell in finish.

It's amazing what a difference the colour makes, I really like the blue one.
