Can anyone recommend a good reference book for the NWNGR?
Preferably a good read with plenty of photo's & illustrations.

Peter Johnson's Illustrated History of the Welsh Highland Railway is probably the closest to what you want.

I also got that, It has some nice pictures over the years of the NWNGR and WHR and loads of information from the very early days right up until now (or a couple of years ago)
