Depends on the loco

Dont know if your/RH RC-brand like Acoms and LRP has a stick-type TX on offer, otherwise changing the Rx is also needed.

Change the Rx to match your other Tx-es on your other RH locos then if they are 2.4Ghz.

If its the same as the planet type ones:

Buy proper stick type Tx that is compatible with the Rx, remove cover on loco to find the Rx, turn on new Tx, turn on loco and press pair button on the Rx, flog stupid car type anoying Tx on ebay. Jobs a gud'un.

As long as they have 'binding' compatability then as DVT said a new Tx is all you need
