3/16" Bore Gears

Post by robbieg96 » Mon Sep 13, 2010 2:58 pm

I hope someone can help!

Does anyone know where i can get a set of 3/16" bore gears?

Better still, a 3/16" bore gear that i can use with a drive(worm type) that is fitted to an LGB toytrain motor?

I'm scratch building a loco chassis, and i am using 3/16" axels and would like to make use on an old LGB motor i have.

Many thanks in advance!

3/16" dia axles seem to be standard in 7mm scale modelling.

I've been using ABC gears for several years; http://www.abcgears.co.uk/ ;

Slaters also do gear boxes to suit a 3/16" dia axle; https://slatersplastikard.com/details/gearboxes.php

Otherwise you might find something here: http://www.gauge0guild.com/x-links.asp
