Currently after some idea's for stop blocks/bufferstops/track ends (call that what you will). Any home made ones you may have done I would gladly like to see (so I can rob the idea  ;) ). In 32mm I have only seen the peco one that frankly looks a bit weedy for my liking. (Not that I have an issue with stop blocks being weak & have possibly never hit one in real life....lalalalalala)

I actually had a very simple vertical piece of wood which came up between two sleepers at the end of the siding........... BUT it was securely fixed to the under - track battening and NEVER shifted!!

Lineside Delights made a nice buffer stop kit.......would be fairly easy to copy?

Thanks for the replies there, that lineside delights one does look good. May try & emulate that one.

It needs to go here as the wall behind it is not to be used to stop vehicles by order of the management! ;)

The mamod stop block is awesome, maybe combined with a sand drag before it as well. :D :D :D

I would just have it as a show thing (i'll use it on the permanent railway) it won't actully be used, (i hope :? )

For buffers I use LGB things look rubbish but do the job well.

Stop blocks I use these little yellow things seen in the photo above. made so they clip onto the rail and use the chair as a stop so it cant move any further back.

Excellent idea!
