I've just spotted that Modeltown have released a Railwaymens Chapel as the "Wriggly Tin Chapel" !

Looks excellent and I think I'm going to have to get one!

Tin churches came about from methodist, Baptist and others having missonary work amongst the new industrial areas, and also rail/civil enginering communities took them when moving from one project to another....this also included living accomodation schools etc

you could buy prefab tin and wood buildings as easy as ordering a shed and there are 200 listed tin buildings
