Radio Control- For Dummies(TM)
I've got 2 r/c conversions pending on my workbench, my own Accucraft Lyn and the "Millie" of a lad in the village I help out as a "consulting engineer" from time to time. However, this is a side of the job I've never tackled before, and looking at the mishmash of components supplied one thing puzzles me- where does the juice go in? Looking at the receivers I see sockets where you plug the servos in, and the servos have the required wire and plug, but I don't see any single socket marked just + & -, or any immediately obvious way to join battery holder, via on/off switch, to the gubbins it powers. Yes, I've had my r/c Lady Anne for 16 yrs, but that setup has been so reliable I've never had to touch it in all that time. I could probably take it to bits and reverse engineer the setup if I absolutely had to, but I'm a firm believer in "if it ain't broke don't fix it" and besides would be a little chary of being able to get it all back together in full working order again.
