Brrrrr ! A Cold December Day On The TDR.

Post by grumpfuttock » Sun Dec 13, 2009 1:07 am

I couldn't resist doing it. It was a beautiful cold day, with not too much wind. I had fitted a Summerland Chuffer on "Hercules" a few weeks ago and had the urge to try it out on my 2 to 2½ % grades, pulling 6 Bachmann bogie coaches and a couple of wagons. Total train weight including camera ... 14.4 Kg.

Really good video John! Super steam and sound effects, and a really nice scenic railway! I love the Cheddar Hercules', I'd love to own one someday! I will have to make do with a Fowler for now!

Marvelous, the whistle has a lovely low tone.
The motion on these cheddar locos is quite hypnotising
